Creating a world of creativity in 2024

An important part of looking forward is looking back. In that spirit, our team members—visionaries, storytellers, and trendsetters in their own right—are sharing their favorite projects from this year and the work possibilities that excite them for the new year.

Let’s dive into the aspirations and witness the unfolding narrative of a year destined for innovation, creativity, and growth.

Patty Tulloch, founder & creative director

  • What was your favorite DSC project of 2023?
One of my favorite and more rewarding projects this year is our work with SEAL Future Foundation, a non-profit that supports Navy SEALs’ well-being, education, and career post-service.

We looked for ways to refresh their brand, website, and marketing to better align with their mission and vision. Their heartfelt commitment to the SEAL community came front and center in our discussions and approach while staying true to the values they continue to live by.

  • What work are you looking forward to in 2024?
Non-profit work is a wonderful challenge for us, looking for ways to elevate and communicate the impactful goals of an organization in the most creative way possible.

In general, working with brands, both for-profit and non-profit, that have deep, rich visions and missions and helping them tell their story with words and visuals that engage their communities is always exciting work.
  • What other resolutions do you have for the new year?
I love any time the team gets to flex their storytelling muscles in interesting ways, whether that be audio stories in a podcast or social audio card, fast-paced videos that are as meaningful as engaging, or unexpected graphic treatments that breathe life into stats, data, and complex topics.

Kathy Hutton, vp of production

  • What was your favorite DSC project of 2023?
I have two favorite projects from 2023 – helping SEAL Future Foundation with their updated branding, website, and other marketing needs. We also worked with BeeWorthy Farms to help with their marketing strategy and social media needs.

Helping a non-profit dedicated to supporting former SEALs with career and healthcare services while also assisting a women-owned start-up in building an eco-friendly farming and flower business was rewarding and inspiring.

  • What work are you looking forward to in 2024?
I would like to help even more small businesses and non-profits grow and thrive by providing them with all the various services we offer, from branding to social media, blogs, and websites to videos and overall marketing strategy.

  • What other resolutions do you have for the new year?
I want to continue growing our business by delivering services to a client base that is a balance of non-profits, women-owned businesses, and start-ups, in addition to the medium and enterprise businesses we currently support.

Meghan Cordella, creative director

  • What was your favorite DSC project of 2023?
The DSC brand refresh was my favorite project because it allowed us to play with new web and graphic styles and creatively push ourselves.

There were also a lot of inspiring client projects. In the Foresight videos we created, we took existing content (an on-stage presentation) and repurposed it into a more visually engaging piece.

  • What work are you looking forward to in 2024?
I’m looking forward to creating even more impactful videos in the new year!

Noella Bible, art director

  • What was your favorite DSC project of 2023?
I enjoyed working on podcasts because they are fun and inspiring conversations that can lead to stand-out quotes and drive business!

  • What work are you looking forward to in 2024?
Events! I love working on the concepts and payoff of seeing an event happen! Smiling faces and memorable experiences make it all fun.

  • What other resolutions do you have for the new year?
I would love to work on more mini videos for use on socials, where I can put a lot of creativity into a 10s clip!

Lauren Wilson, creative director

  • What was your favorite DSC project of 2023?
Working on the DoubleShot Creative brand refresh was one of my favorite projects this year! Being a creative agency, we can push boundaries more and get more playful. I loved bringing our team’s personality to life in a colorful and playful way.

  • What work are you looking forward to in 2024?
I’m excited to work on more branding and brand refresh projects.

  • What other resolutions do you have for the new year?
I would love to help more women-owned or service organizations (like we did with BeeWorthy and SEAL Future Foundation).

Katie Burton, digital marketing strategist

  • What was your favorite DSC project of 2023?
Our futurist campaign project was one of my favorites because it was filled with fascinating content and a variety of mediums – podcasts, audio cards, social media campaigns, and more – and provided amazing content for our client!

I also thoroughly enjoyed working with the women-owned BeeWorthy Farms on their social media strategy!

  • What work are you looking forward to in 2024?
Helping clients share their brand stories through podcasts is a big goal for me in 2024!

  • What other resolutions do you have for the new year?
In the new year, I would love to help a non-profit build its digital marketing strategy.

From designers envisioning a spectrum of vibrant possibilities to content creators scripting narratives that resonate and social media maestros making waves in the digital landscape, our team is setting sail toward uncharted waters, armed with resolutions that fuel the fires of innovation.
