Ingredients
- 1 part fresh lemon juice
- 1 part aperol
- 1 part amara (see notes)
- 1 part bourbon
Instructions
Pour into a shaker of ice, strain and serve. A generous jigger of each ingredient makes two dainty but powerful cocktails.
Notes
It’s important to use AMARA, not AMARO. I made that mistake, and would like to spare you from it… You want Amara D’arancia, a type of amaro; the straight amaro is way too dark for this drink.
