Perfect Your Personal LinkedIn Profile

  • Profile photo
    • 400 x 400 pixels or larger (Up to 7680 x 4320 pixels) 
    • LinkedIn can handle files up to 8MB, so upload as large of an image as possible.
  • Cover photo
    • 1584 x 396 pixels (Aspect ratio: 4:1)
    • Make sure your file is smaller than 8MB

Pro Tip: Cover photos are cropped differently on mobile and desktop. Make sure to view your profile on both kinds of display before finalizing.

Spruce Up Your LinkedIn Company Pages

  • Company logo size: 300 x 300 pixels
  • Cover photo image size: 1128 x 191 pixels

Posting Digital Media Like a Pro on LinkedIn

  • Single or multi-image posts: 1080 x 1080 pixels or 1920 x 1080 pixels 
  • Article featured image: 1200 x 644 pixels
  • Article banner image: 600 x 322 pixels
  • Blog post link preview mages: 1200 x 627 pixels
  • Documents: 1080 x 1080 pixels or 1920 x 1080 pixels
    • Preferred Format for Document: PDF
  • Videos: 256 x 144 pixels or larger (Up to 4096 x 2304 pixels)
    • Video file size: 75KB to 200MB
    • Maximum video length: 10 minutes
  • Stories image size: 1080 x 1920 pixels

Ads and Events Need Love, Too

  • Company logo size for ads: 100 x 100 pixels
  • Spotlight ads logo size: 100 x 100 pixels
    • Spotlight ads custom background image: 300 x 250 pixels
  • Sponsored content images: 1200 x 627 pixels (1.91:1 aspect ratio)
    • Sponsored content carousel images: 1080 x 1080 pixels (1:1 aspect ratio)
  • Event Logo Size: 300 x 300 pixels
  • Event ‘Banner’ Size: 16:9 ratio, preferably 1600 x 900 pixels
  • Group logo size: 300 x 300 pixels
  • Group banner size: 1536 x 768 pixels
